I'm a bit confused this supposed to mean. Did I forget some msh/odf files?

Edit: Where do you see your BF Log file? In VisualMunge?

Also, I have made a custom LUA Assault Side but they don't appear in the field either because the game crashed before or they were still Heroes. Or do I need to copy those sides folders?

Finally, which LUA do I modify? BAK, LUA, or both?

Why did you delete all of your LUA files? The BAK files are not important, they're just backups for the original LUA's.

Erm....I never said I deleted them. I modified them since that's the only to get custom sides correct? In which case, I doubt deleting LUA files affects my errors I have presented to you.

The only place LUAs are stored in are the Script Folder.

Never modify the Baks, the luas are the ones to modify.
The water error I got too, I posted a request in the request topic about water tutorials, so we'll see;).
I suggest you copy all the things you have modified(ofcourse the folders in BF2_ModTools\data_***\Worlds\***), except the luas in the *** folder,
and make a new map in visualmunge, and paste the modified stuff where they were in the new map's folder.
For the BF log file, you'll need the cd version of the game and run BF2_modtools.exe, OR follow the link to the topic made by
Zerted, found here: index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=3497 .
There's also a mungelog that poppes up(if there's any errors/warnings) when the visualmunge is done munging, which is the thing you posted.
Savvy?

Ok I tried to open up Modtool.exe (CD version) but there my map also crashes. I'm afraid I'm going to have to restart the map. About custom textures. You see I'm actually trying to add those in my map. Because I'm no expert in Softimage, do you think I would need to modify msh files like the hoth sky and replace that with another texture under a program like Photoshop?

That might be another result of the bizzare crash I keep getting.

Now open up Bfront2.log and see what made it crash. (message severity 3's)

EDIT: Ok I found it but it's the same errors as I quoted in the beginning of the topic.

How do I discard water layers? In fact, how do I even know I inserted a water layer? Does it appear blue or something?

EDIT: Sorry if these questions seem obvious but in the near future, many will wish to know UAQs.
