I'd like to start making some custom units but I'm not skilled enough to start from scratch. How could I take pieces of one model and replace them with one from another model? Example: Replace the helmet of a Phase II Trooper to a Phase I.
Thanks in advance.
How do I make a "kitbash" model?

You can convert the models from .msh to .obj by using RepSharpshooters meshtool(search the XSI FAQ)and then load it into XSI Mod Tool or Blender and delete the parts you don't want. To get a character back in game you need one of the XSI Trials with the Pandemic Exporter or XSI Mod Tool with the XSI ZETools.
