This is my first map. It takes place in an Afghanistan village on earth. Features custom sides, sounds, and map. Screenshots and possibly a video will be posted within the next half hour!

Mapping:
-Command posts: 100%
-Out of bounds/leaving battlefield: 100%
-overall map progress: 28%

SIDES:
-weapons: 95%
-Units: 100%
-sounds: 95%

Finishing touches/polishing
Minimap: Not started
Loadscreen: Not started
Custom camera shots: Not started
Localization: 85%

Overall progress: 86%
CREDITS: Marth8800: Ground texture, general help, PE.
AQT/acemastermind: PE, general help.
Taivyx: Original terrorist model, original blood effect, original weapons. Blood effect edited by me, models re-skinned.

The map is only at 28%, lol. Im working on that as of now. The sides are more or less finished. A cookie to whoever can guess edited stock skydome im using!

Back to topic, I like that the Terra Strife assets are finally used. They are so epic, and still it's the first time I see them in a map.

Needs a LOT more variation in the terrain. I'd suggest adding bunches of hills and dips and whatnot. Looks like it's off to a pretty good start though, Fruit Loops!

Just a note about the sides.

You have red crosses on the medic class. The reason we used to do this was medics were unarmed, and by the Geneva convention you weren't supposed to shoot them.

Well we don't do that anymore. Why? Well terrorists don't care for the Geneva Convention, and they'll shoot even unarmed medics. So we stopped labeling our medics, and we gave them standard firearms. So essentially they look like regular soldiers now.

Suggestion: Not everyone that browses these forums have extremely high download speeds, so if you plan on posting any more screenshots, the recommended formats are .jpg and .png. The format you are using now (.bmp) is completely inefficient. Try using GIMP or a similar program to do your conversion.

I know that, however, I want the medic class to stand out more so than just the face transplant. An Oreo cookie to whoever can guess which face is on the medic now. 8) Ads for the screenshots, the .bmp format is what fraps uses by default....I will see if i cant change that to something like .png.

Ah, didn't catch that in the first post but I found it now. I also found some walls in the pictures that weren't loaded yet.

This map is going to be frantic cqc (close quarters combat). In the future realism maps I make may have vehicles.

Dreadnot and zappattack, added to beta. I have made some map progress, just no updated screenshots yet. Plan on surprising everyone. The sides are 100% complete minus the floating icons so 95% done.
