I need some ideas, for both era's, both sides, specialty units. I'm thinking around 10-15 per team, and I need some good suggestions.

I think he posted those as a list of what he already has, and wants suggestions for units not on that list.

Rebel (or clone, or droid, or imperial) Sabotuer (spelling?) - Cloaking device, fusion cutter, emp grenades, detpacks: just about any combination of items that would help bring down enemy vehicles in a roundabout, highly covert manner.

Rebel Freedom Fighter
Primary weapons:
CR Blast Cannon - semi-automatic blaster rifle that can be charged (hold the mouse button) to fire a shotgun-like blast, much like the Wookie Bowcaster in Battlefront I.
Secondary Weapons:
Napalm Bomb - improvised explosive device that deals little damage to units caught in the explosion but sets them on fire.
Fighting Spirit(buff) - augments damage of all units around the Freedom Fighter.

Republic
Clone Mortar Trooper
Primary Weapons:
Mortar/Grenade/Call-it-whatever-you-want Launcher (Thermal Detonators)- shoots Thermal Detonators, which are good all-around explosives.
Mortar/Grenade/Call-it-whatever-you-want Launcher (EMP Rockets)- shoots EMP Rockets, much like the stock Jet Trooper, but only one rocket per "clip". Perfect against droids, obviously.
Mortar/Grenade/Call-it-whatever-you-want Launcher (Sonic Grenades)- shoots grenades that deal little/no damage whatsoever but knocks down all enemies in a large area. Good for avoiding getting killed by a mob of enemies.
Secondary Weapons:
none

Confederacy
B-1 Vortex Droid
Primary Weapons:
Vortex Gun-it's basically the Force Pull ability, but in a gun, units pulled take moderate damage due to the fall/hitting something along the way. Think of a nerfed down Super Gravity Gun from Half-life 2.
Vortex Gun (Blast Mode)-Close range attack that deals a good ammount of damage and pushes units back a little. Best used after you've pulled someone.
Secondary Weapons:
I would suggest some sort of reversed concussion grenade that pulls people towards the explosion, if you can get it to work correctly.

Empire
Inquisitor
Primary Weapons:
Lightsaber-but with very weak and slow combos, cannot block or do sprinting or jumping attacks.
Powers:
Bind-a Force Choke with a force lightning effect. May kill a unit if the user spends enough time binding him. Take a look at this:

That actually reminds me of a unit I've always wanted to include whenever I make a GCW side - the Imperial Saboteur from Jedi Academy. Weapons could be cloaking device, sniper rifle or blaster rifle, and your choice of explosives.

Don't take the weapon setups literally, since I'm half-awake at the moment, but it should be logical and a decent base to work from.

CIS
Neimoidian Honor Guard (requires a new player msh, I know) - Blaster Rifle (custom model), Thermals, Blaster pistol

Alliance
Special Ops (I'm guessing your "commando" is SpecForce.) - I'm hard pressed for a setup for this one, but.. DL-44, Timebomb, Stealth

Republic
ARC trooper - M5, DC-17, Rage, Detpacks

Shadow Trooper - DC-15A, Vibrodagger, Thermals (You could use a DC-19, but I'm not sure of what you're doing, so I don't know if a stealth weapon would be wise.)

Imperial
Shadow Stormtrooper - E-11, Vibrodagger, Thermals

Shadowtrooper - Lightsaber, minor Force powers, Stealth

Fanatic: 2x pistols or Vibroblades, Detpacks, chance of high powered explosion on death.
Infiltrator: Shotgun, Stealth, Jetpack, Haywire Bomb.

Empire
Riot Control: black armoured snowtrooper with Riot shield (block and simple knockdown attack only), Rifle that can be charged up for stun shots and Nerve Gas/Poison Nades.

CIS
Jet Droid/Air Droid/Rocket Droid: whatever weapons suit

Republic:
Elite Jet Trooper: DC-15A, Wrist Rockets, Nades of some kind

Heavy Assassin:
Targeting rocket launcher (shoots a small rocket a bit slower than a sniper rifle, one hit kill.
Sedating dart pistol: stuns for 3 seconds
Assassins recon:
Basically a recon droid with a one hit kill pistol, only gets one shot though. Also has self destruct. Detpack CIS
Jet droids, commando droids, neimodians, geonosians, you choose.

Empire
Salvaged super battle droid:

Basically a rocket droid with a rather rusty skin, an empire logo imprinted on him. Could be equipped with poison wrist darts, flame thrower, laser beam, tri shot and rage.

Rebels
Bothan commander:

A bothan with a cape and backpak and lots of other things that make him look big and strong. Weapons:
Grenade launcher, deployable turret, bolt caster v2 - shoots a single, deadly bolt that vapourises the target, blowback
pistol - deals small damage, knocks the target over (like a grenade would), stunning for a few moments, haywire nades.
Just a few ideas.
Edit: oh, this may come out weird cos I'm on my phone :lol:

@DRK. I have one of these, but i was planning eventually to redo its saber combo. (right now he uses Vader's) he uses com hero default instead of jedi also.

I know this would be used only by the truely desperate (and by the truely desperate i mean those who are playing the game, not the person who adds them to the game) but a Kamikaze Trooper, who basically has only 2 attacks, a weak punch melee attack, and an ultra powerful detonator, though you die in the process.... plus in single player it would be even more annoying (unless you make it so that AI do not use the Detonator)

other than that, how about a Solar Droid/ Trooper (Uses a relatively powerful pistol that absorbs the rays of the sun, and turns it into a fire beam type attack....) and perhaps 2 grenades.

Or perhaps special "Experiments" such as mutated humans (perhaps use a wampa or wookie or some other alien as the mutated form) then give them some strong melee attacks kinda like the wampa. but due to the side effects of their mutations they actually lose health as they go along, kinda like an on spawn poison type of ordeal. and perhaps even one of the melee attacks has a poison buff attached to it, or better yet when hit by it, you become a mutant for the opposing side.(but once you die you go back to your original team.

Republic:
Clone Experimental Trooper- EMP Blaster (basically a blaster rifle that emits a blue beam with electrical crackles/ball/bolts surrounding it, tweaked responses) that overheats pretty quickly. Commando Rapid-Fire Pistol (chaingun-like, extremely low damage). Wide Pulse Plasma Grenade, or WPPG, a grenade that acts in two stages, stage one taking in a large radius of units and pulling them towards a common point, stage two being a plasma grenade (I say this mainly for the effect that comes with the released one, isn't used much) that damages greatly, but doesn't quite kill.

CIS:
Trandoshan Merc- If only that one weapon that emits the blue pulses in RC would be cool to have.

The concussion rifle? The model for the weapon itself currently does not exist (as far as I know), but I have seen functionally similar weapons before, it could be done.

Again, I never thought the weapon to be very great, but the effect was always so cool..... :P

Imperials:

Wookiee Slave - Wookiee without a weapon, using the same attacks as Wampas. Maybe with a harness or something that shows that he's a slave. If possible, the harness electrocutes the Wookiee if he attacks an Imperial.

Noghri Assasin - Noghri with a poisonous vibroknife (attatched to the wrist akin to Assassin's Creed 2 - if not possible poisonous vibroblade, and if the poison is not possible just a vibroblade), secondary weapon a poisonous wrist dart. Poisonous grenades? Note that Noghris are short, about four foot.

Clones:

Clone SCUBA trooper - Trooper that can survive underwater, well suited to maps with lots of water. Tanks on their backs, with masks like swamp troopers. And flippers. Electricity blaster (Or, Arc Caster with yellow lightning - Plo Koon's Force Judgement with a blaster) that electrocutes the surrounding units. Electricity grenade, and secondary electricity vibroblade. They like electricity. Also, they move faster than other units underwater but slower on land.

Clone blaze trooper - The big beefy clone troopers that grabbed you and had a flamethrower in the Star Wars Episode III game. Primary weapon enhanced flamethrower, secondary weapon knifes attatched to wrists. Due to bulky armour, they take less damage from every unit but Fire Suppression droids (See below) give more damage.

Droids:

Only one, the Fire Suppresion droid - A blue droid with an unlimited supply of water that spurts from a nozzel attatched to the droid's wrist. Not very effective against any unit except Blaze trooper.

Can't thing of any rebel units.

I've sen it used by Bossk in the Convo Pack, but I think it's a converted model from JKA.
