Pretty much the same as 1.7..except with vehicle sounds fixed and locals name fixed. Also a few bug fixes. Also included is a tribute to the GAMETOAST modders. Many of the modders in this BF 2 forum are immortalized in the Geonosis Offensive, locked in an eternal struggle on this battlefield. Keep your eyes out for them!
I have made my best effort to make this crashless in multiplayer. I hope it works well...it does for me.
I still recommend running it in windowed mode...as there is (by design) alot of action at a time..and is taxing in video systems.
I have been amazed at the response to this map line(and a bit perplexed, as there are so many great user-made levels out there)..and I thank you all for the support on this!

Ok. This map is as war-like as it gets. It's a modified version of the Geonosis shipped w/ Battlefront 2, but with alot of enhancements.
1. AI controlled Hero's-(one at a time...like it should be).
2. Conquest mode, but with Mega XL troop counts...the map is packed.
3. Some REAL flyers and frigates flying around with the backdrop action...makes it more immersive.
4. Added vehicles
5. Selectable Hero units with no "run-down" timer(also only one of each).
6. 900 re-enforcement count for a BIG fight.
7. Cap ship capturable cp's.
It is an example of all the latest mod tips from this board(AI Heros...Space vehicles on land...XL mode in Conquest..etc).

Its Awesome!, and i dont usually like big battle maps nor geonosis. But it feels great. It is what he says. You will see heroes (Anakin, Obi Wan, Ki Adi Mundi and Dooku, Grievous) around but just one of each. And the heroes are overwhelmed with so many enemy units around so they dont un-balance the game too much.
Mace and Jango are the heroes of the map.
Tons of droids and clones around, youll never be alone anymore.
The game is, curiously, well balanced.
Maybe Grievous and Jango shouldnt be there, but CIS needs heroes.
The "more than one hero" thing, should be done for almost EVERY map on the game, as a big mod.

WinRAR isn't pay. well it is but the evaluation period doesn't end. it says it ends after 40 days but then when 40 days come it just has a popup whenever u start it saying that the evaluation period has ended. Then u just hit close on the popup and continue working with WinRAR. so it is techinically pay but not if u don't care about a few features turned off and a popup after 40 days everytime u use it.

EDIT: one thing wrong though. if ur not going to do anything for the GCW era take it out.

daaaaang ive always waited for a map like this. the closest to what i wanted b4 this was a bf1 map, i forgot its name but it had selectible wookie and bothan jedi. anyway this map is grrrrrrrrrreat (like frosted flakes mmmmm.....)

Removed GCW era(as suggested).
Added Capital ship above battlefield
Added some space action...you can now fight above and around the cap ships and frigates.
Still fixing the Landing issue(got me stumped right now...all other land maps I've done havent had this problem...even with landing regions the things refuse to go down).
Let me know of you like the Cap ship action in the skies...Im not sure to leave it or not.
Next release will have landing issues fixed.
