Well, my old map crashed. I didnt give up. I decided to start work on a new clone remnant map, and possibly revive the old map later.

Here is an overview.

STORY:
The clone remnant was a squad of the clone wars. After failing miserably in battle against the CIS, they were put out of action. When the empire was born, the emperor found out about CIS outposts around the galaxy which were planning a strike to get revenge on the traitorous emperor. With no storm troopers to spare, the emperor sends out the Clone Remnant to extinguish the first CIS outpost on Gah’reve.

I know, at first it didnt quite work, and the jettrooper got it, which was fun... (AERIAL STRIKES FTW!!!)

But I fixed it, and Im really happy with it. ONly downside is, you can see where you are shooting once you start. It all blurs out in smoke and blue shots. But its very powerful. Takes out a droideka super quick.

Now it just takes more points to get the clone commander.

btw, the sniper screen is not the finished skin...

Thanks! Also a small note:

It is around 50 %, just the exact % is not sure. I may feel like adding a city one day, and that would change the %. So Im more than 50%, but a exact is unknown.

Yay, more from grev! The first clone rem was defected I hear :(. So no CIS skins? I have a cool sniper model :D.

Sorry, UNless I have a change of heart, no CIS skins. The clone commander is way too powerful, and to even that out, I keep the CIS skins. It is IMPOSSIBLY HARD to find the CIS when you snipe, or are just looking around. THey blend in like crazy

Ya, but the brown CIS on the ground (take a look at my ground texture) blends in better.

HOWEVER!!! If what Im doing works, and I get naboo sky to work, then maybe the black CIS will be better... I will see...

Well, I made the ghastly whiteness dissapear, for more of a view.

Also, the CIS sbd now has a droideka shield, which should even out the teams, since the commander is the only one who can take out a shield quickly and the AI is retarted.

EDIT: Sorry about the double post, just noticed it.

This map was supposed to be different, (I planned my first 3 maps.. sort of) but I changed the name, and the layout.

Also, I need this done for me. I need a ep2 clone heavy trooper renamed to Commander Scorch and sent to me. (I have renaming troubles)

Silva,if you look, I put your name in modders working with me, and labeled it (I may use some of his skins later).. :P

AGH! Ive hit a snag with the sbd. The shield turns on everytime he shoots, I willl have to work on that. And possibly giving teh CIS a commander unit with a chaingun as well?... hmmm

Any body know what the name of the skin for the ep2_rifleman is? Or, how would I be able to change what skin it needs?

EDIT: Also, I have to put this in the first post late, but I renamed the clone units, and I will give the Clones a commander, scorch. Thats why Ineed the ep2 skin.

Ok, all my rep troops have been renamed to CR *******

Also, instead of the sniper (I may do this to CIS as well) I made a paratrooper. Its just a juiced up sniper, with a Paratrooper skin, thats green with several variations.

New paratrooper screen. Its a sniper based on the Parjai paratrooper, and I made it have a sniper rifle

ok, I dont believe in bumping topics, but I have minor updates.

Since this is all happening during the empire, I gave myself some leniency and put a storm trooper.

He is really a shock trooper (Its from skyhammmers side asssets, I didnt realize where the REPs were so I used empire) and he has a hev rifle (no idea what that is) mortar launcher, and two other weapons listed in my first post.

His skin is camo, I just haven't been able to try it out.

Medic unit and other coming soon, when I get the sides folder to firenic.

To do:
reskin buildings, add buildings, skin CIS, make map more interesting, finish my heavytrooper skin. Make a jettrooper skin, and new units

Jet trooper skin completed. The jt now has new weapons too.

To even out the teams (So far it hasnt done much, but I will ocntinue tweaking) I gave the droideka Repeating Rocket Blasters. Pretty fun eh? It is.

I will continue evening out the teams so that the rocket chaingun isnt overly powerful.
