Re: Looking for Mod Team
A couple points for anyone else who wants to make Unofficial Patches:
* If your mod doesn't change the game's lvl files then I wouldn't really call it a patch, probably more of an addon or extension.
* I've never finished or released v1.4 but I have talked about it. Releasing a different v1.4 might confuse people (but that's only a tiny issue as it's been awhile since a v1.4 update)
* Releasing a v1.5 without a v1.4 will get a lot of people emailing you asking where to find v1.4. They'll want to install v1.1, v1.2, v1.3, v1.4, and then your v1.5. You'll get another group of people asking if v1.5 includes v1.1 through v1.4 and other variations. Since your (or anyone else's) v1.5 might not require a previous v1.X, it makes it more complicated trying to help people with installation and map compatibility questions.
* You'll get emails asking why installation failed because the main screens show v1.0 or v1.1 instead of v1.5.
* If someone else makes a v1.6 you'll have people thinking you made v1.6 and will expect you to support it. (I had nothing to do with v1.2)
You can and should address all those issues in your readme, but that's a READ ME file not a REMEMBER ME file. Maybe if it was called cheatcodes.txt more people would remember it...
Anyway, I can't and won't force someone to use or not use a specific name. Good luck on your mod. Whether you do well or fail, you'll learn something.

Re: Looking for Mod Team
Thanks [RDH]Zerted! You must have really learned a lot from creating that v1.3 patch. I'll keep those tips in mind for future projects.
We've decided to call this mod "Star Wars Battlefront United" the WIP topic was locked before I could make that change, when we reach the required % complete I'll correct the information.

Re: Looking for Mod Team
Next time, when anyone posts anything, please don't make a follow-up post basically echoing the content of that previous post. It is completely pointless and adds no new information to the topic whatsoever.DylanRocket wrote:Yup we change the name.Just like the message I quoted says.Glitch25 wrote:Thanks [RDH]Zerted! Hidden/Spoiler:
On the bright side, Nedarb7 completed Rhen Var: Harbor! (Missing a few sound effects that we are currently attempting to fix) As a four member team we still communicate well, encourage eachother, and work together the best we can with the modding knowledge we have aquired through Gametoast and SWBF Custom.
Anyway here's the official news on Mod DB.
http://www.moddb.com/mods/star-wars-bat ... r-complete.
If anyone else would be willing to help with the BF1 map conversions please let us know!

Re: Looking for Mod Team
Reason why I stopped was because I could not get the maps converted nor do I have enough space on my pc.

We require assistance! We cannot decide on a single image to use for the loadscreen, take note that this may not be the final image. Your opinion is greatly appreciated. I've added a poll.
Edit: Pixilation did occur. These were taken from the facebook page then uploaded on imgur. Nedarb7 has the full quality ones. We might made some minor adjustments to the images still.
