Something goes wrong when exporting. (Blender 2.49b)
This is about blender 2.49b. I have my model, its uv'd and i have followed every guide to the letter, but something is not right. When i export it to wrl and try to open it with mshvewer nothing happens. I know that the zoom is not the problem, because if one of the models in the menu to the right is selected it does not dissapear. I use windows xp if that matters. If i were to export a model without doing any uv'ing or applying a texture, will i be able to export it to the mshviewer?

as I just posted in a different topic asking pretty much the exact same question (though I think actually that was the more recent one):
First of all, there's an odd quirk with the viewer that keeps the model from loading if you try to double click the file to open it. Instead, you have to open the mesh viewer, then grab the file and drag it into the blue part. Very odd, yes.
If that doesn't solve the problem, make sure that the "texface" button is pressed for the object's material in blender before exporting it. If it doesn't have a material create one and then click the "texface" button.
