you might have to edit the weights of the bones after you envelope the model.... I've been staring at my weight editor for hours a day fixing the characters i am working on and after a while thats all you seem to want to work with cause it makes life just that much easier

Well its apparent on that model, but I don't think that's the actual E-11 as Ordo pointed out. That looks like some variant. Here's the a better picture:DarthRogueKnight wrote:Ref Pic:trainmaster611 wrote:No I meant you made the barrel come in and then back out like a megaphone, but the real model is just flat with a hole in it.Hidden/Spoiler:

@Swado: I think you've gotten to a really great start if that's your first model

I realized that, but I thought it added variety to the model, so I put it in.

looks good so far, can't wait to see it ingame.
the cylinders and sphere's look a little high poly though.

@ Swado - the texure needs some work.
@ Fiddler - not bad. The cockpit seems a bit wide to me, but maybe that's how they're supposed to look.

Re: SWBF Series Model Showcase Thread v3.0
Quick E-11 I did to show good edge flow to avoid bad shading due to weird normals.
1893 Tris, but distribution is uneven. Took 45mins, and I might go back and make this a hi-poly for a normal map bake. Basically I can add more detail, every where. Was a nice exercise to get back into speed modeling. Least efficient part is the stock, but if I spend about an hour on it I can do full detail and have it produced exactly as it is in real life for folding and unfolding.
Powerpack slot is abit too high also.

Wow, it actually looks really good! Honestly, maybe you could model some detail (those of the magazine), but otherwise I think it turned out really well.

Re: SWBF Series Model Showcase Thread v3.0
Wow, its ahrd to think I don't post here anymore, now that I release more often than showcase first.
Ah well...
Been workin on this:
SWG: SG-82 Rifle

Wireframe:

Now some of the rare finds here at GT who DO play SWG(did even), and the even more rarer breed, who actually DO pay attention to weapon dimensions(not even I did that, you could look at a ref pic) may notice that the rifle is not "short" or "stubby" enough.
Well there was the original SWG model and the artwork from the TCG game. The artwork was long. The original model basically had larger cylinders.
So I fused those 2 concepts and spawned this.
Ah well, it doesn't look THAT bad right?
Comments, jawas, sweat droplets?
NOTE: Oh, and if anyone wishes to crack up a good texture for this gun, Pls PM me(well, not could, more like I NEED someone to.
