Gaaah, I can't choose between this and The Battlefront Project!
Both are insanely amazing!

So does this have compatibility with the conversion pack?

Would you like a Blackhole Trooper skin that I have made?
No offense to Droideka88 or anything, but I honestly think mine is more like the real thing.

@Taivyx: I already went ahead and used your Blackhole skin. Hope you don't mind. :P I'm aiming for CP compatibility. Might not happen. As for the BF project - I've used a heck of a lot of stuff from Syth's asset pack. You'd be surprised. I still don't like his class layout, though.

@Darth_Z13: You'd be surprised at what you find when you poke around on Filefront. Qdin gave me his permission to use it - I'd asked him previously but didn't receive it.

@alenoguerol: I've got the DSD on Kashyyyk Campaign. Can't do anything else without going into ZeroEditor. [shudders]

I should have some more screenies up tomorrow. Space and GCW. And expect some serious bug reports.

Okay, that's good. I recall you telling me to hold off until you came up with the skin team name. This is the "side mod" that I was speaking of.

Oh, yeah - I'll give you guys some nice RC-style screens if I can. If I can get the bloody Kashyyyk hunt working. :x Trannies vs Wookiees (with RC rocket launchers, BTW) all the way! I've also got Geonosian Elites on Geonosis, and hunt is RCs and Jets vs Geo's and Elites. It nice, very nice!

Why exactly do you need his permission to let other people use your stuff? Just because he wants them before anyone else doesn't mean you have to do as he says, they are still yours...
Yes I did make it-with assistance of t551t551 and Schizo for skinning and exporting, but I promised him first use (with a few exceptions). I keep my promises. But seeing as this mod was 5 months work, it deserves a accurate version of the DC-17m (Syth asked too :D). I only want to talk to Majin because I'll need his agreement as he is the original Promisee.

It wont be a public release of the model anyways (not yet at least), just 2 other people getting it.

SWBF1 is a different matter and is under my jurisdiction.

EDIT: I'll have to poke at Qdin for use of it then. :P

Thats what I'm having trouble with. :lol:

How 'bout combining your mod with Syth's mod, ARC_Commander. As you used Syth's assets in this mod and Syth's 'The Battlefront Project' is another awesome side mod, most of us will be having head-aches on whether to download Syth's or Your's.

@XxDepredationxX: There's a few fundamental things that Syth and I disagree on. One is the carbines as primary weapons for the standard troopers. Also, he doesn't use commanders. But don't worry - I've done a lot of stuff that he's done. Higher fly heights for one.

And by the way - should I have limited ammo torpedoes on starfighters and tanks?

I would say that having limited rockets would be more life like but I would just leave it at infinity.

And where did you get the Trashadon gun?

Okay, infinite rockets it is.

I made the Trannie gun with a reskinned medkit. Get it here:

EDIT: Since I'm bored (on laptop without BF! Nooooo!), I'll post the space changes:

- Most starfighters are shielded (exceptions are JSF, TIE's, DSF, tri-fighters, LAAT, droid gunship)
- K-Wing is Rebel transport - same as in Conversion Pack
- X-Wing lasers improved
- X-Wing torpedoes massively improved, very powerful - 2 rounds per clip
- Y-Wing is faster, uses X-Wing torpedoes, has ion turret, and heavy laser cannons instead of particle cannon
- Beam turrets replaced with ion cannons
- Repeating turrets replaced with laser cannons
- Particle cannon ordnance is red
- Grievous fighter has laser cannons, X-Wing torpedoes, is faster
- LAAT has tailgun, wing autoturrets, "droid buster" remote rocket - EMP explosion
- Pilots have concussion grenades - small, very damaging blast radius, and a large push radius
- TIE lasers improved
- TIE bomber has TIE lasers
- All TIEs are faster
- TroopTrans is Imperial transport
- JSF is red, extremely fast, lasers are blue
- ARC-170 is three-seater - pilot with lasers and torpedoes, bomber, tailgunner
- Droid starfighter has tri-fighter missiles, is faster
- Tri-fighter has heavy laser cannon secondary, is faster
- Rebel marines have armour similar to that of Elite Sides Mod
- Clone marines have jetpacks, carbines instead of rifle
- Timebombs have an EMP explosion now
- Imperial marine is a Dark Trooper
- Droid marine is red-trimmed

I think that's it. Just one thing: How do you make starfighters heal faster??? I'm going to make the unshielded ships heal faster to make it even.

Check the starfighter's ODF. There should be a line in there that defines how fast the pilot repairs the vehicle.

Yes, I've seen it. PilotSkillRepairScale, or something like that. But which way do you adjust it, up or down? I've tried both but haven't noticed a negligible difference. Could someone please provide an example?

Hate to double post, but, progress update here. I believe I've fixed the gunship doors, I've got the Conversion Pack K-Wing working, and I've made a clone assassin. V-Wing now functions as a multipurpose starfighter. But the X-Wing explodes upon spawning in, next to the K-Wing. I'll have to shrink it even more, darn. There's no engine flames on the K-Wing, either.

Seems I have the competition...

I dont really care though, the battlefront project was made for my enjoyement, but how could I resist not makeing it a downloadable side mod? :)

Youve used alot of my assets though, maybe some of my ideas so I guess I have a part in your mod too. That Trando skin is partly mine too :twisted:

Does yours over-wright all the sides, or just some of them? Mine will only affects the shipped maps. If yours does then people could have both, yours for mod maps and mine for the default levels if they wanted, but then theyde have one big-a$$ side folder.
