How to install in 3 easy steps:
1) go to [Battlefront2 Directory]\GameData\Data\_LVL_PC
2) Backup your retail version of Shell.lvl. Do it by renaming the file or moving into a new folder
3) Override the game's Shell.lvl file (but keep a backup of it!) with the new Shell.lvl in download's zip file
What this does:
Many things, see the change log. Added support for maps with new game modes. Added coloring for custom maps. 'Unlocked' Campaign maps for singleplayer only.
Known Issues:
Mos Eisley claims to have Space Assault. This is the same as Hero Elimination. The problem occurs due to the way the developers coded the assault mode. A fix is being looked into...
The new game modes' strings have been hard coded into the selection screens. Due to this, they are not localized, sometimes show up as [null], and are in English only. A new core.lvl is the only way to fix this. Core.lvl munging is being looked into...

There is no Dagobah campaign map.
There is no Mos Eisley campaign map.
There is no avh mode icon (of course no one would have noticed that one).
Those maps don't show up in the selection lists. They just sneaked into the readme and are now removed from the first post.
Edit: what is BOC?

All the named modes (not c1, c2...) are supposed to be reserved until they are fully developed. I am currently working on a game mode installer, but my time is split between many SWBF2 projects, work, and I have to paint our deck before the July. I think the process of adding a game mode to your map is hidden somewhere on these forums. If not, I could write one up but like I said, I'm busy.

He did that on purpose. Campaign maps don't work in multiplayer. They weren't scripted to so you get all sorts of problems when you run them.delta_602 wrote:well i just wanted to start up a multi server with the campagne maps but doesnt work. that SUCKS badly.

Those are for map makers to put in future maps. Nothing was changed to the original maps. If we changed something you wouldn't be able to play online with the original maps.Aksel3 wrote:Nothing more?
