Hum, I don't think you are going to find any mods for a demo/trial version of a game.

If you end up buying Freelancer, then I would recommend getting Discovery and Crossfire, these are arguably the most polished mods for Freelancer, and they add a lot of content too (including battleships, though they are somewhat rare to find and very costly).

it gives any mods for the trial version for example the nostory mod...but i dont search that i will battleships(yes i buy it of course but by ebay its a long time....)

Good choice, Freelancer is one of my favorite games. Ever.

As far as mods go, I second the Discovery mod. I haven't checked in a while, but I believe the latest versions of it are multiplayer only. If you wanna play singleplayer, then just find the latest one that still supported singleplayer & just activate that one whenever you wanna play it. I get bored playing unmodded Freelancer, since I'm used to mods like Discovery. VERY well made, and adds a ton of stuff.

I haven't played the latest version yet, but the previous one still had SP, and I don't think they were planning to drop it...
