Feels more intuitive than ZBrush, could never quite get the hang of ZBrush even though it currently has more options and abilities.

30 min of freeform work time.

Well it seems Tomas Pettersson and his freeware Sculptris app have been noticed by the Pixologic team and they have taken interest and hired him and acquired the app, this is great news for Tomas and the ZBrush community.
Sculptris 1.02 has been renamed to Sculptris Alpha 5 and has already been moved to the Pixologic servers.

I really hope it stays free, or at least inexpensive, with this new development; I saw on one of the announcements it would continue to be affordable; I pray he meant it. Well, considering that he wasn't gonna keep developing it, it's good news any way it goes.

Sculptris Alpha 6 has been released:

It is still affordable since it is free but I can't help but believe Sculptris will eventually be absorbed by ZBrush.

Is it possible to reduce the polies in XSI or some other program?
I've used models that were WAYYY to high polied but using the polygon reduction tool I reduced it by about 50%, is there a way to be more reduced though? In other software maybe?

The Polygon Reduction tool in XSI should be able to take care of it completely and accurately but if you're just looking for something else to try then Noesis also has similar functionality and Blender has Poly Reducer or the Decimate Modifier. I think most people these days would just create a low-poly mesh then take that into the sculpting software for the details etc or just retopologize the high-poly version to create a low-poly version for games etc; you can retopo in XSI if you wish.
