i only moved and scaled the cubes

here is a picture of my collision (this is with the mesh instead of the primatives)

i think its the purple lines that i am running into, those are what i need to remove, the redish orange lines are the ones i need.

The smaller purple ones are the spring bodies, the larger one with the green on top is the building/vehicle collision create by the munge due to no primitives for those on your model.

Now you can make the spring bodies smaller and position them lower on the model.
If your hover is never going to move (not much of a hover then) then create a terrain collision primitive that is equal to the base of your model and you should be able to remove the spring body lines.

BTW if it is not going to move but it is a command vehicle then try making it a COMMANDARMEDANIMATEDBUILDING instead that way you don't have to worry about the other collisions.

the larger one with the green top seems to also be acting as soldier and ordanance collision...

also would my units be able to run into the spring bodies, i thought that units go through those...
