Interesting little observation (Episode III clone)

Post by Raptor522 »

For those of you who own\have owned the game Jedi Outcast, you remember the Swamp Trooper, right? For those who don't, here's what they look like:

Now, while selecting the Clone Sharpshooter class in the SWBF II beta, I noticed it looked VERY similar...

Could LucasArts be looking back on their work for new ideas? Of course, this could just be coincidince, but, well, how should I know?

And no, this has no impact on your life what-so-ever. Just something I noticed. Please don't flame me because of this.

And another thing...is it just me, or does this ewok look evil? Kinda creepy...

That clone trooper was seen briefly in Episode III, during the Battle Of Utapau. And yes, that ewok does look kinda evil.

The resemblance of those two Troopers isn't that weird : We all know that Episode III Clones have been replaced by new units during the Empire's apogee. Anyway, those soldiers have always keep "details" which remind their predecessors...
Or maybe it is more simple than that ? :|

Well, I just found it strange that they'd look back to one of their older video games for a design for a clone trooper...of course, like I said, this could just be coincidence...

Um...I just said that that clone trooper wasn't designed by Lucasarts. It was in the movie. :?

ahh the swamp trooper... you know someone should make a mod with him in it.

The sniper thats pure coincidence. I personaly belive that the clone has very little in common. However some, but not much.

So, maybe this model has been integrated in the "Models Source Packs" of Jedi Academy ? :|

Raptor - don't you think that they just keep 'upgrading' the original suits? (lets see it like we were organizing in thte beginning of the Clone Wars)

its not like they say: "lets add a helmet to this guy - oh, and we MUST not give any armor which is already taken..!)

so how many different suits can you make, if they're NOT allowed to look similar to some previous siuts? not many :o

Yeah, just like everyone else they look back on what they have done before to get ideas and inspiration. Allthough i don't think they are that similar, just a little bit. And the reason that the Ewok looks evil is cause it is evil...very evil...just so you know, i didn't said that, you didn't hear it from me OK? 'Cuse they are waching me!!
