I never thought about the multiple capital ship problem with transports... saying multiple capial ships, will there be two gray wingless mon cal cruisers or 1 winged and one unwinged?
Wouldnt a correllian YT-1300 freighter be ok for a rebel transport? It could have a forward firing laser cannon carry the same number of troops as the Lambda, have less armour than the Lambda, but be as fast as a ywing. too make it looks different to the falcon it wouldnt have the protuding bit between the two prong things at the front and it wouldnt have the two barrel shaped escape pods on the sides either.

According to Wookiepedia (which I gave a link to in my previous post), the YT-1300 had TWO primary configurations: cargo, AND passenger (also, the laser cannon actually was a standard featureAussie_Irishman wrote:"So? ok, lets recap here....anyone who knows the falcon, and its owner, Han Solo, knows that the millenium falcon was heavily illegally modified...the "standard" yt-1300 has no quad guns, no shields, no big sensor dish....the "standard" yt-1300, was a CARGO FREIGHTER.

i'm satisfied with xwingguy removing those particle/chainguns those things are ugly!
but, when someone might make a deathstar superlaser, take an imperial particle gun, cut it in half and intensify it's damage, but slow it's speed, and voila, you have a deathstar superlaser.
maybe xwingguy could put one in the background, and have it to fire on corvettes in like every 5 minutes, but only corvettes, as cap ships are too valuable and the rebels would then be owned.
and i have no idea why someone would put a particle cannon in this game at all.

off-topic: Wow that YT-2000 looks good i wouldnt mind that as the reble shuttle, although it can only carry 4 people...
To the post above: I have no idea why lucasarts would do that... if they lacked time then using the laser shots for everything would be better than inventing many other shot types that never appeared in any star wars film.
They also messed up the clone units, why have so many different types of clone armour for the 501st? i think they were going to put the correct set of clones on each planet but ran out of time an put wrong armour on the 501st instead.
I also think the blasters are utterly wrong the should fire much slower, be much less accurate but kill in 1 or 2 shots.
On topic: i looked on Xwingguys photo page and there is a new image i think it is an image of a floor for the corridors as they didnt have on before it looks good anyway...

Any of those cargo freighters work for me (YT series) as long as they aren't the same as the Falcon. Remember though, I don't have any XSI skills.
K-wing, even if it wasn't EU, I don't think that it would work because it's really wide and would probably have trouble landing in hangars. (In fact, I think this is why it got dropped by Pandemic.)

Good news, some of the hallways from the Tantive still work. I like to use them more because they are a lot more flexible than Kamino's hallways.
