cam I uninstall the 1.1 patch and the 1.3 patch and how

you can, even though i see no point in doing so...

all you do for the 1.1 is uninstall and then reinstall the game (if you have an addon folder place that on the desktop or somewhere safe before uninstalling and place it back after its reinstalled). for the 1.3 patch all you do is click on the think that you used to install it, the menu.bat file, and then read the little menu thing that pops up and there is an uninstall button usually command number 2.

also if you downloaded 1.1 and wanted to play on servers on the 1.0 version of the game someone has invented a version switcher that allows you to swap between them. its on filefront i think.

ok then thats a good enough reason. if you have downloaded the wrong one then you could always just uninstall the game and then reinstall it and then you would have to find the right version. depending on what your game type is, international, english (domestic), etc. i think you can find these on the lucasarts site. (or google)

please answer how do I uninstall now that the wrong ones installed my game doesnt work please answer. every time it says wrong disk inserted.when i uninstall the game and re install its says the same

well then try another patch. if it doenst work with any patch, contact securom and theyll send you an e.xe that works on your computer.

no DarthD.U.C.K the inter patch installs but it says after installing and trying ti play wrong disk inserted and the US patch say not compatible with your version should I trey the CD-Rom patch

no it says on the cover PC DVD-ROM

Try to start the game with the BattlefrontII.exe, not with the launcher.

Make sure your game isn't prepatched before trying to install anything.
If it is prepatched you should see this in the upper righthand corner when you launch your game:


The BattlefrontII.exe is replaced by a new one when running the 1.1 update(patch) from Lucasarts, this new BattlefrontII.exe has a CD check, if it doesn't recognize the disc in the drive after the update then contact SecuROM(see this post for details) and they will send you a new BattlefrontII.exe that works with your hardware configuration.

Judging by what you posted so far, you seem to have the International DVD version, try the BFIIUpdateInt1_1.exe patch. Dakota's reply pretty much answers your original question though.



To uninstall the 1.1 update manually(I don't recommend this) I believe you just replace the BattlefrontII.exe with the 1.0 exe and modify the registry entry indicating your game has been patched, otherwise just reinstall the game(recommended) to remove the 1.1 update. The 1.0 exe is deleted when patched to 1.1 so you'll need to copy it somewhere before patching.

could it be the addon folder maybe thats already in the gamedata I did contact securom now im waiting for them to send but where is the e.xe.

The .exe is located in Lucasarts/Star Wars Battlefront 2/Gamedata, it is a little icon of a 501st clone trooper. I don't know how you could miss it, since you have to see it every time you add a new map to your addon folder.

does the e.xe run without the CD.

No, the .exe does not require the cd to run. I haven't had my cd in for almost a year .
