I'm in the same boat. I'm in the 490s and would like to know-this is is it possible just being that close to 500 could make my mod maps randomly crash? Between Dark Times and the Conversion pack I just don't have room for any other big mods.

Anyway, I've run into a few people joining when I've done either the dark times, the conversion pack, or both. And I wasn't advertising for people to join either. I agree maybe it would be bests to run the conversion pack only for a while, if not only so me and my friends can play :lol:[/quote]
You can easily stop the DT from being ingame by changing the name of addme.script, and then edit BFX back so you can join. Thanks to Anakin for this tip, I use it when I need to switch between mods all the time now.

Yea it does seem like a few of the maps do make some players games crash but only once from what I can see. I've been able to get in and play on any of those maps easy.

So we put to close the end of this play session for Friday. I'd like to thank CressAlbane and few other players for participating in the session. So what we learned from Today’s test is that there are a few maps that may make some players games crash the first time around but, they can easily get back in and it doesn't stop them from being able to play on the map. So we did good and had fun guys thanks again. However we still didn't get the play limit needed. At the most there were only two players in the server during the session, myself and CressAlbane. I hope that some of you guys are not having problems finding the server or anything. In order to truly test the server to its fullest, we need enough players to do it, About 6 players would be best with me included. Please try to come to tomorrows session Saturday 2pm-4pm PST (5pm-7pm EST) Please try to come guys we need at least 6 players playing in the Server at the same time for as long as possible to get the most out of the test session.

Here are the proposed days and times that we come play together to test the server. I need at least 6 players playing for a long as possible:

Good news! The bug that has been crashing the mandalorian wars project 2.0 sides has been fixed, so it will have a WIP project and will hopefully be released soon.

I was playing this and the lag just RUINED the gameplay. I got a little upset.
But this was with only 2 people. Let me say first this was on the LOWEST graphics settings. The lag was so bad I found myself walking into an empty room, seeing a message proclaiming my murder, fall dead after a second or so, then watch as an AI walked in and exploded the air.
As you can see, this really brought down the overall level of fun on the server.
I admit, I ranted a bit, then left.
Please try to get a better connection, then I'll play much longer and enjoy it a lot more. Also, I advise making a smaller number of AI and lowering the graphics on the hosting computer/program.
Take this with a grain of salt if you live closer to CA, I live in Ohio. However, I just got a new high-speed internet connection.

Just to let you know that I don't run the server from my personal computer. It's run in a database center in San Jose CA. So I don't think I'd be able to up and change graphics settings and such. There could have been a number of reasons why you were getting lag, I think it was most likely the map. Isn't it true that some maps may lag more then others. CressAlbane and I were playing on Endar Spire for our last map that's where he got the lag. I'll tell the Service Provider about the Lag you where getting and they should be able to do something about it. The DSotM Server is a professional server, so the connection is much better then most free servers. But I know that even professional Servers are not perfect, to matter what you do you'll get Lag sometimes.

I think it might have been the clustered amount of AI bots in the area causing the lag. It was pretty fine on the spaced-out Kashyyk Islands.

It's a 10 player Server and I have it at 6 AI per team. I didn't think that it was do many. In my experience 6 AI is enough to create a challenge for players with out to much lag, any less AI then that and the AI don't become challenging enough. I've seen other Server with more then 6 AI maybe like 10 or 16 in them and they have like 20 players in them. So I wonder how they can put it off without getting lagged to heck.

EDIT: Today's Test Session is now over. The session was technically a complete failure. It was just me for most if not all of the time, one player did show up at the very end of the session but qiuckly left soon after. Don't know where everyone was? During the last 3 session we did learn a few things about the server but never reached the goal of 6 players. Could have been a number of reasons why we never got enough people, but I digress the only thing to do is try again. So we'll try 1 Test Session for next week, and hopefully we’ll be able to reach our goal of at least 6 players for next time. I'm usually available much earlier than that (12:00 noon PST) Can you make the sever times start, say, at least an hour earlier?
Also, I'm almost always free on Wednesdays.

Recently played on the server. The map was Rattatak and mode was hero assault. I didn't play the whole match, but I didn't notice any problems.

Alright I thank you for your feedback. Hey was it just you playing inky or was there anyone else playing at the time. We really need a few people playing at the same time. This is where the really action will come. Remember about the next play session guys.

I'm not going to bother anymore with the other topic about this issue since I can't make double replies on it anyway. (Really? copy and paste the content of your old post into your new post then delete your old post -Staff) So I hope this new topic will get everyone’s attention. Look people I need play testers for my Star Wars Battlefront II PC server. These are the details please listen very careful, "I need at least 6 people playing in the server for as long as possible." This is all I want nothing more nothing less. Please tell me that it's not that hard to pull off. The whole point of testing is to make sure that the server is running as it should. I want to know if the server can stand up to what I or we want out of it. I don't have a professional Server for nothing you know. I want to make certain that it runs as a professional Server Should. The Server uses the Conversion Pack, and the Battlefront Extreme. These are the most popular Mods on the game with 100s of people downloading them every week. There is also no doubt that many people have both Mods installed at the same time on their games. This is why I picked these mods to host. Not a lot of other Servers have this Mods running, that and a professional Server to run it all. I only need to do this test once after that we'll know what this server can fully dish out. Please help me test this server. Please don’t play in the server alone get a few of your friends to play with you. Set up a time and do it. (Not by yourself, because that won't give us the data we want from the server. Plenty of people have already played in the server alone.) We need at least 6 to get a good idea of what this server can do. I'm not going to set a date for a test session unless I know I have the commitment of people to play. So please tell me when you are available to play, then we can work out a date and time that everyone can make. Please help me out, all you have to do is play, how hard can that be.

So your saying that you don't think that most people have the Coversion Pack and BFX installed on their ganes. Well can I at least get a commitment from 6 people to play in the server? I mean all at the sametime by the way.

I do know this, if i didn't have bfx installed, i wont just get it to play on a server..
