But don't the crystals have lights from ZE on them? I know the overall lighting isn't done, but don't objects need the light things that are placed in ZE to glow?

Nope, the models are set to glow via pandemic tool or mshtool, or they were hexedited to glow, so as long as you have lighting on high, (or medium?) they'll glow.

I finally made some models to go in a map
They are for the marsh, and are platforms - running through the marsh which are accesible by the AI, every straight platform has a ramp up so that you (but mainly the AI) can go up onto the platforms easily just about everywhere. The other thing is that the platforms are high enough to be seen - but also high enough for hover vehicles to pass over, meaning they don't obstruct the hover vehicle battle. Here they are:
Textures are reskins of shipped textures to look 'marsh/gloom/death/other'.
