Re: Battlefront Zero - Version 1.0 Released and Bugs
Kashyyyk:
- Bird Textures missing.
- The engineer has the same problem as the clone trooper: when you switch to the fusion cutter, you can't get back to the carbine
- No music/background noises (wind, bugs chirping, etc) - probably intentional though...it adds a nice effect. Anything you get near to that has a sound though (fire for example) still has sounds.
- the commander with the dual pistols has firing animation problems. He points them up when shooting...
- the AT-PT collisions are HUGELY out of proportion. It's like an invisible box is surrounding it. You can get in, but only if you run against it and keep tapping ENTER, hopinig you succeed soon.
Boz Pity:
CP0's capture region isn't missing, it's around one of the trees next to the base.

Re: Battlefront Zero - Version 1.0 Released and Bugs
some of these may have already been mentioned
-Bacara can't swich back to his rifle after
-at least in Rhen Var, the flying SBD has no jetpack sounds, and the SBD commander has no mortar launcher sounds
-in rhen var, the tunnel's sections in some areas are off by a little bit, or in one place, about a foot. also, though this problem lies with the model, in the tunnnel entrances, it is impossible to get into them, unless you enter the side at a certain angle. the terrain cutter makes it so you can't see (most) of the terrain, but (most of) the collision is still there.
-not that bad, but you may want to remove the reload sound from force inferno
-just personal preference here, but I think it would be cool if you addedan actual rancor as a local side instead of a prop, but just me. If you do, I can give you the fixed assets, you'd just need to add new collision to the rancor.
-at Mos Gamos, you can't spawn at cp4

Nope, only the stuff found in the All Things SWBF1 forum and THIS topic, which has a few old SWBF1 links.

Jabiim:

the cis droids cant enter the building from the left and right outside
btw. may we / i post some improvement suggestions for the design of the maps?

Re: Battlefront Zero - Version 1.0 Released and Bugs
aside from the already mentioned bugs, i really liked the maps. Gameplay was pretty good, the sides were original and very well made, and even the heroes were fun to play as. My only complaint is that i thought that the Geonosis arena map was a bit too large... in the movie it seemed smaller and more compact.
Great Job!

Re: Battlefront Zero - Version 1.0 Released and Bugs
on Kashyyyk it was very difficult/laggy to enter the AT-AP i "accidentaly" did it by pressing "enter/exit" key randomly around the vehicle.
and on Mygeeto i couldn't find the Tri-Droid/octuparra (i thinks thats hw its called)
i'm not sure if they put it in the map ort not, but i saw a screenshot were it was.
and also the other bugs of floating CPs and missing sounds.
after that:
THE MOD IS AWSOME

Um. How do you uninstall? You might want to include that in the readme for the next version, for those people who decide that they don't like the mod.

Re: Battlefront Zero - Version 1.0 Released and Bugs
It seems like most of the bugs that have been reported (mainly the side-related ones like the award weapons glitches) were present in the Alpha.

Re: Battlefront Zero - Version 1.0 Released and Bugs
The mod looks great, but I have a problem. Whenever i try to install/extract, I always get an error of some sort and from what little of the message I can understand (its in Dutch right?), its telling me that there's been a problem and I need to redownload. Also, I always get the message at a different point during the extraction (usually some point in the middle). I've already tried downloading it four times and still no luck. Anyways, there's some screenshots in the attached file. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated, I really want to try this out.
P.S.: Sorry if this is in the wrong section, but I've never used Gametoast before.

Wow, now that's what we call weird. It basicly says the whole thing is corrupted.. Did you extract it to the same folder? Also, is anyone else having this problem?

My installer was in a mid-European (German, Dutch, Swiss, sumthin...) and it installed just fine...
Just run and put it into GameData...you can read where it extracts to...THAT's in English.

Re: Battlefront Zero - Version 1.0 Released and Bugs
If I try putting it into gamedata and then playing the game, then it just crashes on all of the levels except for Muunilist, where the only units I can use are the standard ep2 clone trooper for the reps or the droideka for the cis which I have to unlock. So anyways, I'm pretty sure that the game isn't the problem, although I could be wrong.

Oh yeah and MandeRek (1) sent you jetpack fx, (2) sorry but you'll have to provide some real detailed descriptions or preferabbly reference pics for those other effects.

Re: Battlefront Zero - Version 1.0 Released and Bugs
Most funny thing: those weapon glitches.. Well, I'm not working with the award weapons/medal lines in any odf.. You gave me fixed versions.. Maybe a good clean-munge will work. Also, I'm not having this freezing problem though, in the BF2_ModTools.exeAQT wrote:It seems like most of the bugs that have been reported (mainly the side-related ones like the award weapons glitches) were present in the Alpha.
@Sky Thanks man, it's looking really amazing, pic up soon! I'll be gone this weekend (familytrip) but will get back to you with reference pics
