This map looks really impressive. I really like the skies which create a nice atmosphere.
All those new space ships and vehicles make it look interesting and attempting.
Great work so far.

My favorites are the the space map and the desert map.

The cloudbank looks nice but perhaps it would look nicer if you darkened it a bit to something closer to dark grey than white:

I just realized that was a screenshot. It looked like a photo to me for a second.

The sky looks fine to me, making it darker would be unrealistic, as you can even See in that example pic Fiodis showed, the sun isn't shining as much for whatever reason, in accryptozoo's pic the ground shows how bright and sunny it is.

It's been a while since I played Mass Effect, but I believe the sun is partially hidden by a cloud (as well as being off-screen). What's certain is that Virmire definitely had the feel of an impending storm, so Bioware did get that right. The sun shouldn't be shining so brightly if a storm is on the way, it'd ruin the feel. That pic you posted just brings to mind a a partly cloudy day, not an approaching squall.

That one's a photo, Eaol.

Anyway,

So you had the ground nice and sunny and the sky nice and sunny, then changed just the sky? The ground doesn't realize the sky changed? :? It sounds as if you're really going for the coming-storm effect (and I think you should, it's nice :) ), so you might as well go all the way and make the ground reflect it as much as the sky.

Ah! I see now I misunderstood what was going on, since his ground was still bright. I assumed incorrectly that he was just going for a better sky, so when I heard your suggestion Fiodis, it didnt make any sense. Now that I read the whole thing, I agree with Fiodis. Darker ground and darker clouds.

Hey Acryptozoo, here is a little known trick. Go ingame, go into free cam, and hit M to start the game playing again, then right when the lightning strikes, hit M again to pause the game, then take the screenshot.

it looks good even though the flowers seem a bit out of place in a tundra... i think it really needs lighting and shadows.

the flowers themselves fit, but not the type of flowers, the ones look more like theyve come from a flower bed.

Dang dude, this mappack is coming along really nice. Good job! The ships I would like to see is the TIE defender, TIE Interceptor, A-wing, B-wing, and possibly a YT-1300. Do you think you could do that?
