Water disappears when object is placed under it

Post by linksith »

Hi, I've tried to use a custom object as an ocean floor for the kamino mod I'm making, but I don't see the water anymore. Here is an image describing the issue...

I'm not sure what I am going to do to make an ocean floor. I think I'm going to do something to bypass this problem but just so I know what to do in the future, could someone tell me how to fix this problem.

That was an image to demonstrate the problem, here is the problem...

Notice in the example picture (not the picture shown in this post) how the CIS cruiser looked like it was above the water when it was really under the water. The problem is that when I put an object under the water to make an ocean floor, the water dissapeared.

What's the size of your map? If you're still at the default size, just copy over the NearSceneRange and FarSceneRange values from the Kamino sky file to your sky file. If you've increased your map size, try messing around with higher NearSceneRange and FarSceneRange values.

I've already increased the nearscene and farscene ranges so I can see the skydome I made. I made a skydome because I'm putting a space battle in this map.
