Re: TFU
Well, since the Wii is the only console I have, It's good enough for me. Plus, the gameplay will hopefully more than make up for it.Teancum wrote:QFTFusion wrote:No offense, but it looks like a slightly updated BFII
I think I'm going to stick with the 360 version.

Yeah, the Wii is the only console I have too. However I'm pretty happy because before last year I never owned any console and my old computer could barely run the simplest games, so graphics will probably never be a problem for me.Hebes24 wrote:Well, since the Wii is the only console I have, It's good enough for me. *Tries in vain to click on "Yes-PC"*
Humph. I guess since our family doesn't have any consoles besides the X-Box (no, not the 360) I better just click "no". sigh...

Re: TFU
Doubtful, unless it's like a PS2 port. The PC doesn't have the capabilities for some of the physics engines, plus Lucasarts recently laid off lots of workers that were working on TFU. So at this point our hope of a PC port is pretty much gone.

Euphoria engine = wow.Teancum wrote:Doubtful, unless it's like a PS2 port. The PC doesn't have the capabilities for some of the physics engines, plus Lucasarts recently laid off lots of workers that were working on TFU. So at this point our hope of a PC port is pretty much gone.

Basically, the engine creates anims as it goes along. I find that amazing, I don't know about anyone else.

Re: TFU
Yeah, the Euphoria engine is amazing. The way that people react when you hit them in GTA IV is sooo cool.
Edit: on a more on-topic note, I'm really glad Lucasarts got around to fixing the framerate for the 360/PS3 version. Now that I have a 360 I'll download the demo that comes out this month and see if the full game is worth buying.

Re: TFU
I just thought of something. If someone were to mix the capabilities of the frostbite and euphoria engines, that would make for one awesome game. If that's even possible, of course. Frostbite's terrain destruction abilities mixed with euphoria's fluid character anims would be amazing.

And if we all had Cray supercomputers to play games on, that'd be fantastic!tsurugi13 wrote:I just thought of something. Re: TFU
You never know. I hope lucasarts doesn't botch the story on this game. The odds IMO of the protagonist surviving are pretty much nil, if only to keep the story between the movies intact. There's so much they could do right, but murphy has a way of interfering.Maveritchell wrote:And if we all had Cray supercomputers to play games on, that'd be fantastic!tsurugi13 wrote:I just thought of something.
