How can I save files in XSI 4.2 Modtool? [Solved]

The topic says all
How can i save a XSI model and add the rest of the ship an other time????
i already looked in the FAQ but i haven't found.
here are pics of my new projekt the Sheathipede-Class.

File>Save
You don't need a tutorial for that do you? :)

i have the test version...
i only can export as XSI but this didn't work the program says it's exported and in real there isn't the file

What do you mean "test version"?
I have yet to see a version that couldn't save, which version of XSI are you using?

Are you using XSI ModTool 4.2 ? Why?
Mod Tool 4.2 is capable of saving after you register it and you don't have to pay anything but at this point I don't think the registering process for this relic still works. Try registering it or go and get yourself a more up to date version which you'll probably need to and should do anyway.

Confirmed notes:
Registration process no longer works which means you can't activate saving
File>Export>XSI is now the only way to get content out of this version

can i save the work til now and use it in an newer version??

ok i exported it as xsi.
i thing the error was that i selected all lines.

If you are just going from one version to another higher version of XSI the .scn files are still compatable you do not need to save them as .XSI

If you can no longer register (and consequently no longer save to produce a .scn file), then the export -> XSI is the only available option.
