Server Compatibitly Fix for maps(mapinfo's for all)
I download maps, and if they don't have mapinfo.txt's to allow them to work with the dedicated server, I make one. To save time for other users of the Stand Alone PC Dedicated Server, I put them all in a small download.
Installation:Each mapinfo is storded in a folder whose name matches that of the one in the addon folder. Simply extract and move into the addon folder of your server. If you have renamed all of your map folders, then you'll have to edit the mapinfo file to reflect those changes.
Notes:Bandu's Phantom Menace, and Rends Bounty Hunters do not work with v1.2 or lower.
If you see a map that should not be in this download, becuase it comes with a mapinfo and I accidently included it any way, or if there is a map you want added, or you any other comments, please, please post.

Well, each mod installed needs a mapinfo file. It needs to be placed in the same folder as the addme.script file.
This is just a collection of mapinfo.txts I made for maps that did not come with one. So if you installed, say, GusteR's Mon Edur, the the folder Gus1 should be in your addons folder. When you extract the files by running the executable, there will be a folder called Gus1. In that folder is the mapinfo for Mont Edur.
The easiest way to install all the maps would be to move all the folders(name Gus1, RVIG2, bounty2, etc) into the addons directory, and set to overwrite.
Understand now? Yes, the folders inside the folder 'mapinfos' need to be directly in the addons directory.(or the mapinfo found inside each one move to the correspot the other way is easier.) If this fails to explain, maybe I w ill make a short how to movie.

It was in another post I made, then I gave instructions again to rippentuck, which I will repost here.
Make a new text document named mapinfo and simply type this into it.
"CW,[mapnamehere],[mapfoldernamehere]c,CIS,republic,350,350
GCW,[mapnamehere],[mapfoldernamehere]a,alliance,imperial,350,350"
Quotations are not to be put in file, but everything in between them should.
Change both [mapfoldernamehere]'s to the folder your map is in in the addons folder(ie:tat3) Note the C and A found immediatley after the folder name.
Replace [mapnamehere] with the name of your map(as it appears in addon.script. Open addon.script in notepad and scroll right. You'll quickly find the proper name.)
The numbers are the default ticket count.
If you have a new side, then in 1.2 it won't work with the stand alone server, but in v1.3 it does, just remember not to change the side names. They must always remain the same for it to work.
If you need help understanding these instructions, then please ask for it. If
anyone wants to correct me on this, then I will shoot them with an assualt droid rocket. . .er I mine correct myself. Smile

Hi Ace,
I understand what to do, and have done it, but the dedicated server is still crashing. My mapinfo.txt file (which is in the folder with addme.script) looks like this:
CW,ORD MANTELL: No Greater Glory,Rippen1c,CIS,republic,200,200
GCW,ORD MANTELL: No Greater Glory,Rippen1a,alliance,imperial,200,200
The title of the map is capitalized just like the title is here. Do you see anything wrong here?
Rip
