Custom Skins
OK I know how to texture and everything. I have used Fierfek's tutorial and I've made sure I copy the scripts to put custom people in-game but everytime I try to run my map, the game just crashes. No reason given. Is there something special I need or what?

Re: Custom Skins
Did you put dc: in front of your teams name.
Heres a tutorial on Custome side from the FAQ.
And welcome to GT

Re: Custom Skins
Make sure you copy the "Common" folder from BF2_ModTools/assets/sides to data_abc/sides.
It would help if you described what you did in a bit more detail. Could you post the error log?

@Spartan. Yes I did put dc: in front.
@Cress Where do I get the error log? Is it the notepad document that comes up when I finish munging?CressAlbane wrote:Make sure you copy the "Common" folder from BF2_ModTools/assets/sides to data_abc/sides.

Re: Custom Skins
no, thats the mungelog. and errorlog(bfront2log) is created by the bf2_modtools.exe, you can find an explanation about it on top of the everythingyouneedthread.

Re: Custom Skins
I'm going to drop this problem for now because I just realized that I need to get better at map making itself. I'll worry about sides later when I have a good map.

Re: Custom Skins
It doesn't work that way; you can't just replace a side with another side by simply renaming the .lvl file. The rebels use the prefix all, by the way.
