Huh, that could actually make sense - wasn't the Daughter slightly translucent, just like Ahsoka's vision?Alexrd wrote:Aside from this, I didn't saw the visions the way you did. I think Ahsoka's vision was the Daughter, since she warned him about Anakin's dark future. And Qui-Gon was probably the real Qui-Gon, since he told the truth to Obi-Wan about that place.Maveritchell wrote:Anakin's is obviously different, but it's clear that his wasn't necessarily a vision - it was just the Dark Side brother trying to get to him.

Scroll down, click on the "Clone Card" the farthest leftThe Zonama Zekot would have been a better name as that is also another planet completely created by the Force.
But Zonama Sekot was already described in great detail in Greg Bear's novel, Rogue Planet (Honestly, one of the most detail-oriented Star Wars novels I've read. Pretty good read, you should see if your library has it or can get a loan from another library). Anakin and Obi-Wan visited before Anakin was 13, years before the Clone Wars even began. They would have recognized it, and if the writers DID decide it was Zonama Sekot, they would have been messing with the EU canon, and possibly getting into Yuuzhan Vong territory, which I don't think ANYONE wants.

For once, I have no clue as to what is going on in the Star Wars universe. I guess I'm better off, because you guys seem pretty skeptical about these new episodes. So, after reading your posts, there's something about Qui-gon, Jango Fett and Darth Maul... hmm. They all died, and they were fairly minimal in importance, save for Qui-gon. They all died the same way too, a lightsaber. By putting all the clues together from your context, I would assume that their missing appendages and ruptured internal organs combined once more to make undead versions of themselves to appease the fanboys and satisfy the modern thirst for ghosts, hauntings, and zombies!
I'm probably wrong, aren't I? Resurrections are way overused nowadays.

Man, this new Cartoon Network schedule is inconvenient. By 8:00 p.m., Cartoon Network is already replaced by Adult Swim. Star Wars should be on at 8:00 p.m.
I haven't been able to get back from restaurants quick enough to see any of the past several episodes.

I liked this episode, glad we got to see a little more depth of the Son, which is voiced by none other than Darth Vader's Secret Apprentice himself. I know we all know that, but still its pretty cool. They could not have gotten a better voice actor for him.
Next week's looks like it'll be a very interesting one, indeed. Can't wait to see how it gets played out.

You're right. From the episode guide:Maveritchell wrote:Pretty sure it's actually Orthanc:
The Son's cathedral is an homage to the tower of Orthanc from The Lord of the Rings, the Two Towers, which was also a single dark tower set within a circle. "If you know The Lord of the Rings films you may notice that the tower itself resembles Saruman's staff," says Supervising Director Dave Filoni. Saruman was portrayed by Christopher Lee who also played Count Dooku in Episodes II, III and The Clone Wars movie.

Anyway. I thought Ashley Eckstein and Matt Lanter did great jobs, so did the animators. The little movements of Dark Ahsoka were a nice touch. I cant wait for next weeks episode, like usaul. The son has GOT to die

Wait! They pushed the adult swim block to 8:00?????
Come on! That's horrible. That's even worse than missing the episodes. I am so sick of King of The Hill right now! Glad you guys saw the episode- I need to catch up desperately.

Anyway, I've been thinking about trying out the series for a while and was wondering if you could pick it up from anywhere or if you'd be better of watching from the pilot movie?

Shows the two most recent episodes.
Or, I just went to Family Video (a video rental store for those of you without a Family Video in town), and they had the Season 1 DVD available.

Thanks, but I know you can watch the last couple online, or I could watch the movie and stuff streaming on netflix, what I want to know is if I'd be better off if I watched from the movie, or if I could just pick out one of the last couple episodes and get into it from a random point like that.

Re: Clone Wars Season 3
Ehh. I mean you could start from the beginning. You could also start from the 2nd most recent episode (It leads into the last one). You'd probably pick up on it either way.AgentSmith_#27 wrote:Thanks, but I know you can watch the last couple online, or I could watch the movie and stuff streaming on netflix, what I want to know is if I'd be better off if I watched from the movie, or if I could just pick out one of the last couple episodes and get into it from a random point like that.
