How to create models in XSI and other 3D applications and make them work in Battlefront 1 & 2. Post models, tips for application usage and share anything XSI, 3DMax, SketchUp, etc.
I watched "Duel of the Droids" this morning, and I saw the ship and decided to make it my DMI vehicle.

Refrences:
I know its really high poly, but I can't seem to bring it down without screwing it up, and I'm not too keen to start from scratch...
I plan on getting rid of the little "fins" on the back of the engines.
Once the model is done, I'm gonna make some major modifications to it, since after all, what pilot keeps an amazing personal starfighter like this stock?
It appears that I have finished this model, so please comment.
Model is 100% mine, Texture is 97.8% mine, since the cockpit texture came from the jedi starfighter.

Not really finished, the texture looks really bad, like it was made in paint. There's also some very noticeable bad UV's you can see where the paneling lines are all squiggly. This thing could also use some hard edges in certain areas to make it look better as well.

Not quite sure what you mean about the texture, but the areas that look like bad Uving are just the uneven surface of the wing. its not flat, where each part of the body is (ie. cockpit & engines), the wings are bumped up.
