SWBF .MSH Viewer Probs
Hey peeps, I need some help with swbf msh viewer. It says in readme to put it in bfbuilder (right?) and so I put it there. It also "recommends" having BF2 tools. I don't have much space on the harddrive (since my whole family uses this comp) So I can't download them but everytime I click a msh it says:
"An exception of class NilObjectException was not handled. The application must shut down." Any ideas? Is it in the wrong place or something?

You can only look at meshes you have on your computer. If you don't have the SWBF2 tools (and its associated meshes) you can only look at the SWBF1 meshes - and vice versa.Fett wrote:It also "recommends" having BF2 tools.

I only want to look at swbf1 meshes. I have the swbf1 mod tools on my comp. So why does it say that error?

When you open meshviewer, are you clicking "yes" when it asks wether it should search for the modtools. Also, make sure the list of source files that came with the download are in the same folder as the .exe.

Do you have the SWBF modding tools installed to this location?

Yes, but I figured it out, you just can't click the meshes in the SWBF Viewer you have to drag the ones you have from the MSH file.
