I made edits to the .odf file, and I always munge everything possible, but my edits aren't coming through! I even tried putting the file into the Common side folder! is there a change that I need to make to one of the .luas?

Hehe, it just so happens I'm toying around with that thing as well.
Problem is, whenever I make a change to it, SWBF2 crashes on the starting-up load screen.
There shouldn't be any changes you need to make to your LUA's., as far as I know of, since the unit's classparent is com_inf_default.

Hmm... My map doesn't crash, but nothing is different.

Which values, specifically, are you editing?

Re: com_inf_default
The max walk speed and the jump height.
I'm going to try making a copy of it and referring the inf_default files to that instead.
Nope, just broke it.

Re: com_inf_default
1) Check if the side you're testing the com_inf_default values in have any different values in their unit's odf's.
2) Don't test the Max speed and jump height with the rocketeer.
If all else fails, just copy those lines from com_inf_default.odf to ***_inf_default (*** stands for every side you want to give it to), and edit them from there.
Example: all_inf_default, or imp_inf_default, and/or rep_inf_default

Re: com_inf_default
Yay! adding the lines to the ***_inf_default worked!
Thanks!
Thanks!
