I recently downloaded the unoffical 1.2 patch and was amazed that the game works online even after so much changes.
Now I want to change the weapon's scopes (I want to make them smaller than the normal ones) and use them in normal online playing.
But here the problem begins: I have no clue how to do this xDD because I'm a big mod noob. The only thing I've modded is a mod map but it wasn't too good.
Do I have to use the modtools to do it? ...I have no idea, please help me!

Do you mean the actual scope on an individual gun, or the view you see when you aim through your scope in-game?

So you want to reduce the scope's target size (the crosshair) to give you an edge in shooting other players? Do you know that the current scope's size covers the area in which the bullets fire (they don't always shoot straight) and aids you in advanced wall hacking? Changing the crosshair size will remove those two benefits.

You will need the mod tools unless you are skilled in hex editing (which I would guess is a no).

Yeah i mean the crosshair, I'm sorry i don't speak english very well...
I mean the actual scope (non zoom mode/normal mode).

I hope it's clear now ... and now what do I do next?
I read in an old thread where the odf's are but I don't know how to edit it.
