texture problem
i have a quick problem.the texture for my map is showing up in the editor
but not in the game how do i fix it?

sorry i wasnt more detailed but its the ground texture for rhen var.
i fiddled around with it more and now you can see the texture in the distance only and theres a white circle around you wherever you go.
but now i have a bigger problem whenever i go in the map editor,load my map and look at any object it crashes everytime.
i have absalutly no clue why so any answers would be greatly appreciated

Have you looked at the mapping tutorial on my site ? Read through it, it may give you some clues to where you've gone wrong.

The white (usually black) circle around you is cos you did not specify detail tga from your tile 0. In Zero, when you click on texture/ tile 0 there is detail text box in left down corner. You have to type detail texture for for tile 0, so for rhen var you can use existing detail tga eg. Rhn1_main_detail.tga from assets/rhenvar and copy it to your world1 folder, then in zero for tile 0 enter it in for detail box. As for Q2 I have no clue - maybe saturn/fred could help you...

i think the some of the spawns are making the map editor crash so i'll probably delete them and put new
ones in hope it works

well i tried deleting the fourth spawn and it worked...for a little while
now it crashes whenever i look at any object. AGAIN

it sounds like it only crashes in zeroedit, so then sptest and the errorlog wouldn't help would it?To find out the problem, use SPtest.exe and look at the log.
does it crash when you look at the objects in the game too?
