Dagobah Dense Mist not working

Post by sampip »

I've tried putting in some of that dense, cloudy fog from dagobah using the dag_prop_mist odf, but im only getting a little layer of fog rotating in front of you. i have copied the mist part into the fx file and got all the msh's and effects files from dagobah in my folders. am i missing something?

I think that you just have to use a lot of them.

Take a look at the Dagobah sky file and copy the fog-related piece into your map's sky file. If you just place a bunch of fog objects, you'll wind up having a lot of lag.

edit: still no fog. just you cant see very far in front of you, and the map lags a bit.

What do you mean by "you can't see very far in front of you?" If you mean that things fade out to fog a short distance away from you, that's exactly what's supposed to happen.

Use that in combination with a few of the Dagobah effects to make everything foggy.
