Eddie's Italia v0.80 is out:
This map is based on CS Italy map. Eventhough it is possible to play it in SP it is intended for MP. It has 2 untakable spawn points, so you have to kill all of your enemies to win.
Known issues: reinforcement count drop, some textures have to be finished...

Italia is a pretty good map. I really like the layout and different passages. I know you meant this to be a MP map, but you might want to consider making another version for SP that has more CPs. I just played it in SP and it isn't bad that way but with more CPs that cover the entire map, or at least the parts that don't require jumping, could make the entire map able to be used by the AI. That could make this the best SP map released so far because the gameplay would be awesome if the entire map were used by the AI. That's just an idea I had. Either way this is still a nice map.

How about now that since eddie has released so many AWESOME maps, we celebrate by having an all eddie map server for like one day? I need everyone to rsvp so i know how many people to put as the limit...i'm guessing anyone who doesnt belong to this website doesnt have ALL of his maps so REMEMBER TO RSVP!! ANYONE WHO COMES WITHOUT RSVPING WILL BE BOOT INSTANTLY!!!

As for SP, I did some changes and added one neutral (untakable) spawn so AIs are also drawn to the other part of the town. Download link on the top of page 1 .
I would realy be happy if this map works for MP tho, I made it for friends who where CS creazy long time ago, but there is only 4 of us so we can not fully test italia in MP....

As you can see i got stuck outside with o way in....maybe you can put a ramp to one of the rooftops, that way you can get back in but others can get out. This map is awesome in SP, cant wait to try it in MP!

im just upset that i cant be a droideka in clone wars,
i personally dont like the idea of uncappable point, but other than that the map is great, maybe a couple more neutral points at the start
also has anyone thought of a unit to replace the jet trooper ? as an idea instead of getting rid of the droideka...

Version .82 is an improvement over the original. Now the AI uses more of the map, which is a good thing. When I suggested making another version for SP I meant a separate version for the SP version, like Italia SP and Italia MP. But I think the map is pretty good the way it is now.
I like the textures you used for this map, they look great. I am also glad to see the droidekas and jet troopers not in this map. It evens things out for gameplay.

It is capture able but no one can spawn there. So it gives you and the AI something to do, as in capture the CP, but it doesn't allow anyone to get an advantage.BlackHawk549 wrote:eddie dont make it capturable, then whoever has it will have the flank advantage over the enemy, did u fix ur outer area so people can re-enter? because its sorta a big prob...
