hmmm, interesting....
although imo, many of those things should have been included in the first one...it's feeling like they purposely left some stuff out so they could toss together an expansion pack...
but a new storyline, and the eclipse!

this is gonna be cool. i'm assuming we'll either get a new faction or the pirate faction will be made playable and fleshed out more...

Off-topic : I have to say that this "Expansion" intended to Star Wars : Empire At War will have chances to become really "awesome", but in the meantime, it appears that the content of the Article based on TheForce.Net is only mentioned on that web-site, and not on more "reliable" ones, such as the ones affiliated to GameSpy, IGN Entertainment or even Petroglyph Games, which might mean that the concerned informations could be basically a part of a major "Hoax", Lead_Pilot...

I dont know y u would think that this was a joke from LucasArts. This should be in stores sometime this month or next. There r many games that have expansion packs released in stores.

It does sound cool. B-Wings, Death Star II, Super Star Destroyers including the Executer (Darth Vader's) and the Ecplipse (i think that is the Emperor's)

BAH! Its Pirate oriented! I hate pirates. Afterr watching the trailer, I've been turned off. I'm starting to hate it now, even. Not worth my money IMO, since LoW has all the good stuff already, and all that they don't have is the Priate crap.

I hope its better than what I saw. It had very UGLY particles. Especailly from those ugly pirate ships and tanks. Ugly.

"In the years beforehand, the assassin droid IG-88 was preparing to launch a droid revolution. The last surviving model, IG-88A, built a duplicate of the Death Star's computer core and switched its fake one for the real system, downloading its consciousness as well. When the Imperials installed the core, IG-88A literally became the Death Star, with complete access and control to all systems. None of the Imperial personnel knew, although Palpatine suspected his presence when a series of doors in his throne room opened and closed wildly. When the Rebels arrived, IG-88A fired the superlaser at the Rebel fleet, letting the Imperials believe they were in control, while he prepared to transmit his master control signal that would cause all droids to turn on their masters. When the Death Star core collapsed, all power was lost and the destruction of the station wiped out IG-88A for all time. the IG-88 is a series of assasin droids, the most famous one is the bounty hunter. However in other books there are IG-88 series droids that was controled by some plant owner(Young Jedi Knight series) I read it when I was young!!!!!

Off-topic : ARC_General_Mobo, we cannot really say that one of the Droids belonging to the IG-88 Series had become an independent "Bounty Hunter", as the five concerned models conceived by Holowan Mechanicals were in fact all intended to serve the Galactic Empire as "Assassin Droids", as stated in this Wikipedia Article, no matter if only one of them has become much more well-known than other "Replications" affiliated to this brand-new Generation of Combat Automats...

uh, i'm pretty sure the story is brand new (as in, not based on fanfic). if they were gonna base it off of something thats already been made, they would have such better options.

OFF TOPIC: The reason I said it was no joke @ first is some may think that because everyone is dreaming for an expansion. If I said it was no joke, they would know. And I wasn't sure where the link was @ first, so I used the one in my first post, where I first discovered it.

ON TOPIC: Saw the trailer....Incredible!! The only downside to this one is it won't come out till the fall.

. Some clone wars units added I see, a nice addition.
