Add rain to part of the map? [Solved]

Post by linksith »

Hi, I'm working on a map being designed for different worlds and I'm trying to figure out how I can add rain to a specific part of the map, but not all of it. I know I can use a "rainshadow" region for the rest of the map but I want to know if there is an easier way to do this. Thanks.

Nope -- rain is defined in the .fx file, so there's no cheating unfortunately.

*edit*

Oops - fx file, not sky file

I'm afraid that's the only and easy way you can do this. If you add the rain effect to your map via your world's .fx file, then it'll apply to your entire map.
