How to create models in XSI and other 3D applications and make them work in Battlefront 1 & 2. Post models, tips for application usage and share anything XSI, 3DMax, SketchUp, etc.
FYI that jetpack looks aweomse!!! Now you should edit the original-jetpack-part-skin
because it looks too low-quality compared to the new jetpack part.
I'm glad you like that ref pics. I thought the trooper in it was cool too.
Im sure kinetosimpetus that if you finish this trooper+jetpack model and make it real good,
It will be a unit used in almost every mod.
How about you change the boots some like in the reference picture? But I would make them larger because there is no other realistic way a human foot could comfortably fit into the boot's small, and for a lack of better words, 'sliced', shape

wow, that looks really good! i can't wait to see it ingame! with the jetpack, he'll look even better. nice job
same here
i opened the jetpack and trooper into the same xsi scene (after reskinning the pack to black and white) just to see how it looked, and it did look pretty good to me

Very nice models there, bobfinkl. I would suggest reducing the polies a bit on the first model, but other than that, they seem to be coming along well.
bobfinkl I really like those props they are great and the textures are perfect.
As most of you have probably guessed by now I am make the Rebel Special Operations Units (SpecOp for short) Those are the group of four someone posted a picture of a few posts back.
Well three of them are done and I have started working on the 4th, the Marine. In the mean time I have gotten the other 3 in game so I present their trading card action shots.
