"Visit the New Website Star Wars Battlefront II Now to See Tons of New Screenshots, Download Exclusive Desktop Wallpaper and View the Trailer."

As mentioned, there are some great new screens on this new site(and some info the Republic), I would highly reccomend you go there and get a look at the new info and screens for yourself!

I found this really interesting(some info about the LAAT):

"The LAAT is a slow moving space craft capable of carrying many infantry units. It can immediately house a pilot and three co-pilots.

When landed, the shuttle acts as a mobile spawn point. This is vital to any boarding party tactic, since the LAAT can land in an enemy’s hangar and in an enemy’s hangar and become a point to spawn from.

Transport ships are the only space flyers that will have a critical hit point. This is to encourage infantry enemies toattack a landed enemy transport, rather than avoid it. A transport ship will have a lot of health, but careful aiming to its critical hit point will ensure a timely destruction.

BATTLE TACTIC: Your remote rocket co-pilot is vital to the existence of a transport ship. Turrets will have an easy time targeting and attacking transport ships, so it’s imperative that the remote rocket co-pilot target these turrets and eliminate them quickly. Once the threat is cleared, the transport will be able to dock and begin infiltrating the enemy from within."

I almost had a heart attack watching that trailer.

Seriously, I'm not sure if my comp is going to be able to handle this one... it looks so realistic! I sure hope my system can handle it... but I guess the worst that could happen is getting it for PS2...

Whatever, this game is going to be awsome, regardless of what I get it for.

Neat. I knew that they would include the Outer Rim Seige levels. Awesome. Aayla with two lightsabers...Awesome. So this is what LucasArts was putting their time into...

But, I am unhappy with some things. If you saw the old pics but clicked on them, a new picture would come up. Some of these showcased events that definately did not fit with the movies. Like Jango Fett on Kashyyyk...He was dead by then...And Boba on Yavin IV and Kamino...what the heck? I hope that isn't the campaign...Several others didn't fit in either. Plus, the gallery part of the site is disorganized...You click on one picture and it comes up with a totally different one.

And for crying out loud...The Clone Commander. He has a blaster pistol instead of a commando pistol. What??! He's a commander, he should have a commando pistol. Gah.

Kamino was bigger, but it looked pretty much the same, which is a huge disappoinment to me, because in the first place it was nothing like the movies. I can't say much for Hoth except that the hangar is still screwed up. It's too small and they have that itty bitty Millineum Falcon sitting in the back...Er. And the AT-AT's are too small. Darth Vader is on Hoth and so is Luke, who looks like a hippy with his hair flaired out like that. But it's all good.

One thing that is extremely awesome is that Anakin gets to fight all the Jedi in the Jedi Temple. I saw several and Anakin had his hood/cape on and it was awesome. He also fights Obi-Wan on Mustafar which looked awesome. And the droids on Mustafar had this special "camo" skin. I also saw someone that looked like a young Obi-Wan from Episode I fighting a droideka. He had the same boots, so it must have been him.
