Imperial Firehawke XSI or ODF Problem?

I have a very big Problem with this Hover.The Barrel cannot be simply moved to bring and after the zoom he is completely away?
Hope can make clear with my bad English hope you can help me.

That looks like an XSI issue, though I'm not entirely certain. I don't do this sort of thing, so I can't say much else. However, this tut from the modeling section may be helpful:
