HI.. i really need help

i want to add custom maps to my game but i dont know exactly how to do that...

most maps i download are .rar files

if it is a .rar file... do i have to turn it into a .zip file..??? or a .lvl file

i know how to turn it into .zip file... but i DONT know how to turn in .lvl file

could someone help me with that? ...and what do i doo next?

Also do i have too download something too add new maps?

if so could some one please tell what..? or give me a link to the download?

im sorry if this is like the 1000000000th post for this kind of things.. but im really a noob in this

ok, download all the patches that are out for the game

then, unzip (or unrar) the zip/rar, and put the folder that comes out into the star wars battlefront/gamedata/AddOn folder

then run battlefront and play the new map!!
