I always thought that the topic was about models.. but i guess some people are curious as to how they work.

He is referring to all the extra polys added that you wouldn't really see a ton ingame, but don't mind hi poly weapon models, I think its good.Lephenix wrote:Because it is more futurist / sci-fi , maybe .DarthD.U.C.K. wrote:i wonder why you made all the edges rounded though

Re: SWBF Series Model Showcase Thread 5th Edition
Thanks guys
There isn't much of a good reason to it but, i did it to make it look better, without the beveled sides, it looked really blocky.

Cool! What's the exact poly count? How much can bf2 take? It's kind of unfitting in a ww2 mod though
I'm kidding around.

Re: SWBF Series Model Showcase Thread 5th Edition
The rifle looks great, but I think you should roughen up the texture. Right now, you have just retained the perfect/pristine nature of the concept art. (yeah, I know what you used. Look at my avatar
) I'm not saying get rid of the photo source completely, but make it look more realistic. Add scratches here and there, maybe a little grunge stuff. Please get rid of the horizontal stretching on the top and bottom of the weapon, and it'll be pretty much perfect
