How do i add stock maps from SWBF1 to SWBF2?
i've looked through a few hundred search options and the FAQ but i have yet to find the topic on adding the maps from swbf1 to swbf2, like rhen var harbor and things like that. how would i do this, i have the swbf1 and swbf2 modtools and a few theories but nothing really in terms of information on how to do it.

Teancum made a tutorial, although there's still a lot of stuff you have to do (lighting, objects, sound, etc...).
It really takes a long time, so I suggest you try out the conversions I made.

I actually needed the conversions of the maps to add a custom era i have to them and to modify things. So maybe assets would be more of what i need.Marvel4 wrote:Teancum made a tutorial, although there's still a lot of stuff you have to do (lighting, objects, sound, etc...).

also@wulf: i thought that was for modding projects that you started for swbf1 but wanted to move to 2.
also i seem to have some missing assets, the folders for the worlds of geonosis, bespin, and a few others are empty.

It's not exclusive to that. It's for converting SWBF1 maps to SWBF2.Dakota wrote:also@wulf: i thought that was for modding projects that you started for swbf1 but wanted to move to 2.

Then redownload the SWBF1 Assets. Link provided for convenience. Just checked, link works fine.

Not really no, that I can remember anyway (I've only ever converted Psych0Fred's SWBF1 map, which was awhile ago) . I assume you have all texture files in the msh folder? Try adjusting the lighting as well.
