Re: Help my Modding please.
Read the "Getting Started" doc, go to the "All You Need Thread", the "Custom Sides: How to" thread, and read "Jedi Creation" doc. That should give you all the info you need.
(PS: You really have to read that stuff to be a good modder)

Re: Help my Modding please.
You cant create "custom characters" unless you model, which can be challenging. But there are many cool jedi models out there. Poke around.
Also, as Silva said, read the Modding FAQ and the documentation in the modtools. They help. But if you need other help, just ask.
Also, you need to script in the snow speeder. There is a vehicole doc in the documentation.

Re: Help my Modding please.
There are tga files in BF2ModTools/assets/sides/***/msh
These can be edited for different skins. The snowspeeder you should prob leave out of your first map . . .
(*** means the three letter side name)

Welcome to Gametoast. Try not to make me report you to the S.A.C. (Smiley Abuse Center) and if you don't get what to do, keep reading the documents that Silva mentioned until it kind of makes sense. Try doing it before you ask for help though, and post your results here if you need more help.

Good luck. Good to see a happy/ toungue/ jawdrop face around here.
And to save it, when you open it in ze from the world folder, just replace the old version in the world folder.

Re: Help my Modding please.
Read the documentation that came with the tools. Gametoast isn't exactly the best spoon-feeding community if that's what you're looking for. Go to Filefront forums for that.
