Off-topic: The concussion rifle model used by Bossk in the Conversion Pack was actually made by Taivyx which he released HERE. (I just recently found the link to that thread by the way)

Kind of based on Fiodis' saboteur concept:

Primary Weapons:
-First of all, let me ask a question: is it possible to "poison" a vehicle? If yes: this Droid would be equipped with a missile-launcher, which fires guided missiles (much like the award rocket launcher), if these missiles hit a vehicle, they will "release" Buzz Droids on its surface, which will then proceed to damage it over a period of time. I am not sure how the Buzz Droids would be simulated, though. Perhaps an effect? If it's not possible, then maybe you could cut the whole "Buzz Droid" idea and just say that the missile somehow installs a virus on the vehicle's critical systems or something to that effect.
If it's not possible to "poison" a vehicle: the missile could slice the vehicle and force the drivers to bail out.
-A pistol for self defense.
Secondary Weapons:
-Flamethrower, just in case the driver and passengers exit the vehicle before it explodes. The short range would force the unit to close-in to its target, exposing it to enemy fire and making things more even.

sounds like a good idea, when i saw it i automatically thought of acid, you could make the weapon fire acid or something onto the machine and have a melting/bubbling/smoking effect, whichever is best...
maybe call it a sabotage droid??
based on your idea Nihilo, which is kinda based on fiodis' one :P a republic trooper with some form of flamethrower like gun that spurts acid/acidic gas at the enemy, maybe a green retexture of the flamethrower effect? dunno what to call it though...

Hmmmm, nah, firing rockets at things is not very subtle, and subtlety is required for an efficient sabotage. Fiodis' idea is more akin to an actual saboteur.

Xavious did something very similar to that, he called it Toxin Droid, it has a poison gas launcher that functions like a flame-thrower.

Oh, I see, these guys. Well, wouldn't that require a new model? There are no pictures of MEC troopers anywhere, but they are described as clones with a heavy and bulky armor, I assume they don't look like anything we know...

Edit: Xavious' droids are called Toxin Droids not Poison Droids, silly me.

All I'm saying is that if you wanted a trooper from the MEC class we have models available.

Have you ever played BF renegade or elite squadron? No, I think. Because the MEC troopers are big clones (like blaze troopers or commandos) and you can choose if put the commandos, marines or paratroopers' helmet on this big clone body. So we have the helemts models aviable only not the big body (which looks ugly to me).
