The left picture is the original taken one, and the right one is how it should look like and how it is in XSI. If you ask me the changes i did to some bones via the scale tool are not ingame.

==EDIT2==

And this image shows the trooper with removed SkeletonName line from the unit's odf file. It's pretty the same as the one with SkeletonName line. So it looks for me as if there is nothing changed.

What scale tool do you mean? You should be using either the Move Joint Tool (ctrl+j) or the property page (select bone & press enter) for this.
You should also make one arm goofy long or something until you work out the details so you don't have to make close comparisons, you should be able to tell if its working after only a glance.

You've been doing it wrong. Like Ace said, use the joint tool or property page. What I've always done is use the property page, it allows you to adjust the bone length. I think the reason why scaling doesn't work is because the animations have the scale keyed, but I could be wrong (just speculating).

Yeah we don't scale skeletons or any part of it. You can redraw the entire skeleton at the desired proportions or you can adjust the bone lengths via PPG or Move Joint Tool to get desired proportions. When you select any bone you should not see anything other than 1,1,1 in the Scale axes on the Transform panel. You can rotate and translate bones however you want though.

Ok, so i'll give it an other try. What about the rotation tool (c) is it fine??

@Nedarb: I unkeyed scale before rescaling and keyed it after i did my work.

@Ace: This time i ask :D Move Joint Tool is ctrl+j, i'll try it. But what is PPG??

==EDIT1==

I'm afraid of doing something wrong again. I loaded the templated into my XSI advanced, since i can not open the old scene i made in mod tools 7.5.
I have both opened (old scene in mod tools 7.5 and the new opened template in XSI advanced). I wanted to adjust the bones so they are at the same position as in the old scene. But when i change the rotation values in the property page, nothing changes. The bones are still at the same position. And yes i unkeyed them.

==EDIT2==

Ace and nedarb you are my heroes :D
But nonetheless, can you please answer my questions from edit1 ?
