How do I remove the ability to gain awards?

How do I remove the ability to gain awards?
how would one go about removing the ability of gaining awards after 12, 24, and 36 points? or the player starting with them if they have them all in legendary status?

I dont care about the effects, I want to remove the bonus they give.
