Enveloping Error

Post by ANDEWEGET »

1. my envelopes on some points doesnt work right, i think because they are enveloped to more than 1 null. they move faster forward than the others. i wanted to change it via weighting editor at first, but it didnt work(i cant change the numbers). i tried the "remove envelopes" button, but it didnt work, too. any ideas?

(2. a link or a tutorial, how to setup a skeletton)
edit: i think i got the skeletton

First, you only envelope the mesh to Bones, never Effectors OR Nulls/roots etc. Only bones or objects designated as bones by name (ala implicit bones in 1st person).

For weight editing-> http://www.gametoast.com/forums/viewtop ... 36&t=11786

Look at that discussion.

Also, try to remove your old envelope by freezing the Operator stack, this should remove the Envelope Operator if the Remove Envelope Command does not work. OR go in explorer, and find your mesh, the find the heading Polygon Mesh under it. There should be a Gear symbol (operator) with the word Envelope next to it, Right click and select Freeze or Delete.
