1.1 Patch Issue [Solved]
Alright, so I have the DVD version and I felt like playing SWBFII again for old time's sake so I reinstalled it, downloaded the US 1.1 patch, it seemed to patch okay but then I went to launch it and it told me to insert the disc... The International version just tells me that it isn't compatible with my version of the game... so what's going on here? I'm confused...

Re: 1.1 Patch Issue
I'm pretty sure the dvd version is 1.1 already. no need to patch it.

Re: 1.1 Patch Issue
I'm thought it said 1.0 when I checked but I'll double check I guess
EDIT
Sorry for the double post, but Yes - I reinstalled and it is 1.0 ... I don't understand

Re: 1.1 Patch Issue
It sounds like you're having a SecuROM issue like the one I had after getting a new DVD drive some time ago. The 1.1 update executable has a CD check that doesn't recognize the disc in your drive. You can email an AnalysisLog.sr0 file for SecuROM to look at and they'll send you a new BattlefrontII.exe that works with your hardware configuration. They usually respond within 24 hours. Digital downloads of the game like you can get through Steam are prepatched and don't have these problems.

Re: 1.1 Patch Issue
Why don't you just run the safemode? That does not require a disk at all.
