Wow Bob, I think this is your best map yet! I'm not much of a fan for Canyon maps but this one looks really good. I like the who safari-ish style you got going.

Nice textures on the trees, though some of the rock textures on the canyon walls look a bit stretched IMO. Good work all the same

Re: Hapes: Zoar'Ani Canyon
That's to do with the bad UV job done on the objects, nothing I can do about that as I am as incapable at modeling as could be.sampip wrote:Nice textures on the trees, though some of the rock textures on the canyon walls look a bit stretched IMO. Good work all the same
But besides the release should be by the end of the month. However, I'm not certain as progress is slow since my computer sometimes decides to do odd things and I have to restart my computer to do just about anything and I lose interest when that happens.

It looks like a cool map but IMHO it looks to saturated and bright.

yeah i agree, do you really want to go for this cartoonish saturation?
beside that the environment looks great as usual.

Re: Hapes: Zoar'Ani Canyon
The canyon walls are too bright and saturated, that much is true, but I found bf2 to overall be a very dull colorless game (especially on environments that should be bright) when it came to the environments so I try to saturate textures more and bring more life to them.

Looks great.
I really like the green of the leaves, but I think the green marks on the canyon walls look a bit out of place.

Re: Hapes: Zoar'Ani Canyon
Hello everyone, I haven't posted on this thread recently because I had been working on and off on the map, however looking at it now I've decided I really don't like the map and how it turned out. I am willing to give the maps source to be completed by another person, if you want to contact me through PM or xfire (no guarantees on whether or not I'll give the sources to anyone who PM's me though).
