That is using invisibility. Its not just for bothan's it works with many characters. Try adding it onto a vehicle and see what happens.

Go into the units odf. Go down to weapon section to see what weapons he has. Then is should have something in their called weapon name. Rename that to any weapon odf you want.

I like that we all brainstorm and work hard to achieve something that's impossible, but i agree with Caleb... Still, this might be done on another way though, just like we made some sort of grappling hook!

We made a grappling hook?

Then again, a snowspeeder rope may work, and bla bla bla *gets of topic*

Im actually sure that if you dont copy the bothan odf, you copy the weapon odf, and change it to suit the vehicle. It may work. Ill try it out for my map and tell you guys!

Except for the fact that it was nothing even remotely like a grappling hook.

Yep, don't waste your time. It's been tried many many times by some of the best modders around. It's not possible.

ummmm.... If you assign it a skin that has nothing on it that is just invisible, wouldn't that work?
I made a skin of that if any one wants to try it, my BF2 PC is really messed up.

Unless there is a function to rename a tga or a msh to match this one.

Yes, you could enable the mesh for transparency, and slop an alpha channel over, all it's textures, and then (in theory) it would be invisible.
But you couldn't turn it off.

True, but if you can't turn it off, people wouldn't know the thing was there, and it would be very hard to kill.

I had the idea of a flying, invisible vehicle, but I thought the same thing s Caleb.

Hey, just had an idea... You could put a whole bunch of lights near it, then it would make a shadow..... :?
